Why Minotaur Arts
I decided to set up Minotaur Arts to
provide a service that friends and family complained was absent from
the marketplace, namely a friendly but high quality experience in
the visual arts combining learning with leisure.
In an age of long working hours and
intense professional demands, I feel that there is a compelling attraction
to aspects of life we often feel excluded from owing to a lack of
confidence or time and quite frankly, fatigue. But who among us hasn’t
wanted at some point, to learn more about different features of life
beyond the rather remote experience of seeing a television documentary
or reading a dry book on the subject.
Many individuals have a yearning
for continuing education in life that need not be a formal qualification.
Increasingly, we are all concerned with a search for a quality of
life beyond the necessity of earning a living. That impulse is often
manifested by a hunger for experience outside the familiar routines
of professional and domestic life. |
